Who is AP2J?
See the About page.
How are you funded?
Voluntary member dues and individual donations. To date, the association has neither assets nor liabilities. All work is volunteer-based.
What cases is the association working on?
Three active cases: ECAV/UNIGE (access to the legal profession), election of judges in Geneva, SIG (governance of the public utility company). Exhibits and legal briefs are published in full as the proceedings unfold.
How do you choose your cases?
Based on current events, the alerts we receive and our own investigations. AP2J’s purpose is not to act on behalf of an individual member. It acts in its own name, in defence of the collective interests of its members, in pursuit of its statutory purposes — which serve the public interest.
Is AP2J affiliated with any political party?
No. The association works on the evidence, regardless of the political affiliation of those involved. Ad hoc collaborations exist with elected officials across the political spectrum — for instance with François Baertschi, president of the MCG, on the ECAV case (written parliamentary questions, transmitted reports).
May we republish your texts?
Yes. Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 licence: free reuse with attribution (credit « AP2J » + link to source) and share-alike. Official acts and attached public documents are in the public domain by nature.
Do you accept interview requests?
Yes — write to contact@ap2j.ch.
